1. The only time I feel truly whole is when I am on stage. The most vulnerable and sometimes uncomfortable place within me is always the most real to me. I live for those moments.

2. I can get lost in Whole Foods for 2 hrs. I have such extreme ADD that I end up strolling around the bloody place 5 times with vitamins, incense, magazines, cd's and natural soaps etc. I rarely ever actually end up with groceries. Then I have to go to Trader Joes for groceries (they're less expensive anyway

3. Snow globes make me happy. I always wish I could get inside of them and escape reality for a couple hrs.

4. I think my kitchen is haunted.

5. I am a spa junky. There's nothing better after a long flight or a hectic work week than a hot stone massage.

6. I should really be endorsed by Starbucks. I live off of sugar-free vanilla lattes-with only 1 1/2 pumps of vanilla.

7. I love fashion/clothes etc. I like to go shopping in really cool neighborhoods you just wander into. I love sifting through endless racks for that one dope ass vintage t-shirt that just rocks your day.

8. If I weren't a singer, I'd be a travel photojournalist. I love going to exotic places and experiencing other cultures. We live in such a bubble in the US that when you open your eyes and ears to other people and places, you experience your own existence in a different and more enlightening way. I love to document this in photos.

9. My refrigerator has aloe Vera juice, ketchup, Pellegrino and leftover Thai in it. Shows how much I cook. I really am miserable at it. Lessons anyone?

10. I love yoga. It really keeps me sane. Its one of the greatest things you can do to blow off some steam, clear your head and not go mental.

11. I can't read music. I was flunking out of Berklee College of Music when Jason Flom signed me. I used to go down to the practice halls in my dorm and drink red bull and smoke cigarettes and write songs until 5am. Then I'd show up at class at 8am and fall asleep on my desk.

14. I love rainy days- love sleeping late and hearing the cars roll through the wet streets. Reminds me of being a kid back in IL. It doesn't rain much in LA.

16. When I was five I was kidnapped by my dad and taken back to his country of Jordan. 3 months later my mom kidnapped me back and brought me home to the US. Maybe that's why my whole life I've thought I had been abducted by aliens. Hmm. Makes sense.

17. I'd love to know who I was in a past life. This has always been a huge interest to me.

18. Someone once looked at a bracelet I had on made of skulls(not real ones lol). The person said to me "You're so dark" in a kind of taunting way. I looked at them and said "We have absolutely nothing in common do we." And that was the end of that.

19. I've been called a diva/o. I don't necessarily think that's true. I will say that I appreciate nice things and I know what makes me happy. Luxury can be anything no matter how small. I don't think it is outrageous to indulge yourself once in a while in something that brings you happiness.
